International webhosting

8:28 am by admin. Filed under: Hosting Advices

Did some reach in the scandinavien countries how things looked on the hosting area. In Sweden there where alot of companies with both the shared hosting and dedicated. Danmark which is half as big, had a couple of ok companies such as One Webhotel and Surftown (see more DK companies here). In Norway there where next to none local companies, mostly the Swedish and Danish companies has most of the companies (see webhotell tester). And then Finland… There where like none there? I guess people use USA / UK based hosting companies there. Very strange.

No Business is Small Enough to Have a Web Site

8:21 am by Adam. Filed under: Hosting Advices

This is often the concern of many entrepreneurs starting their own family business.  My answer is simple.  A website can be your very first distribution channel for your products.  Never in the history of man has the opportunity to get a worldwide market as quickly as it is today with the Internet.

The only caution to worry about is: will you be able to meet the demands in case your product becomes popular?  Rather than looking at that as a threat, it’s best to plan ahead and design your business around how to meet a growing demand.  With a good web hosting service, a fully search optimized website , a linked blog and social networking site and a diligent web administrator who can maximize his web presence, that is sure to happen.

When Backlinks Backfires

3:43 am by Adam. Filed under: Promoting Websites & SEO

You’ve must have heard about back linking as one of the most effective SEO methods to get a high Google page rank.  Back linking is quite simple when you think about it.  But it’s the doable part that can be an uphill challenge.  You have to ask the other site to link to your site with the keywords you want.  Easier said than done.  And there are two things to remember (source clearsense sökmotoroptimering)

• Always review your back linking websites if they are still in existence. Regular site visits shouldn’t heart.  The last thing you want is to have a back link from a site that no longer exists.

• Make sure you are back linked to a website that has not been banned by Google or has its page ranked lowered.  You won’t get far if you do.
