Microsoft Eyeing Search Engine Market
After seeing proof that the search engine business is a lucrative online commerce, Microsoft has started to make its intentions of getting into it in very clear terms. It looks like anything that Microsoft had touched has been turning into a cash cow lately. When it wanted a piece of the gaming market, its Xbox product line has certainly stolen the rug from under Sony’s Playstation.
Earlier, it outdid Novell to become the preferred corporate networking standard previously dominated by Novell. So now, with its Bing search engine at MSN, Microsoft just might do the same with Google. If Microsoft failed to buy Google in 2007, guess what, it’s going to clash with it head on.
